Sherri Eason, LMFT

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist  |  MFC51402

My goal as a therapist is to facilitate growth and connection through a positive and holistic approach.  I work with individuals, children, families and couples on a variety of issues to improve the quality of their relationships and ultimately the quality of their lives.  By using a combination of therapies and strategies that focus on resolving trauma, fostering attachment, and bolstering self-regulation I work with clients to develop new ways of relating to the issues they are facing.

I specialize in recovery from trauma utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in which I am certified. I also have trained in the Othmer Method of Neurofeedback and in the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP). These methods which you can read about below offer amazing relief and growth from a number of issues such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder, single incident traumas, phobias, OCD, childhood abuse, grief and loss, attachment issues and phase of life issues.

I graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary in Fresno, CA in 2008.  I became a Certified Therapist through the EMDR International Association in 2015 and was also trained that year in the Othmer Method of Neurofeedback.
