Julie Cardoza, LMFT
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist | MFC41066
Hello! I’m Julie and welcome to my page. I’d like to share a little about me and my style of practice.
I have over 20 years of clinical experience and specialize in working with Trauma and the Body. I am a bit of a ‘Trauma Nerd’ and love providing a blended educational and collaborative approach in our work. I believe education about our symptoms helps restore our foundation of choice in coping. My goal is to help you heal and understand the ongoing relationship of mind and body.
I am a Certified EMDR practitioner and EMDRIA Consultant in Training with specialized EMDR training including Flash Technique, EMDR and Chronic Pain, and EMDR and Dissociation. I have also been trained in Structural Dissociation Theory, Internal Family Systems Theory, Sensorimotor Theory, Polyvagal Theory, and Art Therapy for Trauma with additional specialized training in Traumatic Grief and Loss and am a Certified Compassionate Care Provider through the MISS Foundation (infant and child loss).
My Fees & Services:
Individual Psychotherapy, $130 (50 minute session): I provide trauma specialized individual therapy services for clients ages 15 and older. I specialize in working with medical trauma, dissociation, EMDR, and EMDR Flash Technique from a Phase Oriented approach to treatment.

EMDR Consultation, $100 (45 minutes): Individual EMDR Consultation is also available and I am specialized in phase-oriented treatment of trauma, working with medical trauma, aspects of dissociation, parts work and somatization. I have extensive additional training in Structural Dissociation Theory, Sensorimotor Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and also Polyvagal Theory (PVT). My EMDRIA Consultant is Colleen West, LMFT.
Non-Treatment Consultations, $100 (45 minutes): Non-treatment consultation is also available for yoga teachers, wellness coaches, body-workers, and health professionals in understanding psychological aspects of trauma and resilience.
Somatic Restorative and Resiliency Practices (TBD): I am currently working towards completing my RYT 200 and yoga for trauma certifications. My hope is to assist clients with more tailored somatic interventions to support the mind and body in your healing journey. This is emerging and I will post more on this soon!
