Jennifer Chipperfield, LMFT
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist | MFC52631
My desire and purpose is to help others find healing, meaning and joy. Everything I do as a therapist is infused with this belief. It is a privilege to walk with people as they develop the courage and vulnerability to open up, be real, and seek lasting change. I work with children, teens, adults, and families on a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, transitions and relationship issues. I am passionate about helping women, in particular, find hope, healing and strength for the future.
I work using several modalities based on the needs of my client, including the trauma therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Utilizing these tools, I work to help my clients regain a sense of hope for the future and the ability to heal.
I graduated from Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary in 2009 with a Masters degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling. I am trained in EMDR and in Dr. Brené Brown’s shame research including The Daring Way™. I have also worked as a California State University Fresno professor, and have a vast array of life experience which allows me to connect with my clients in whatever difficult circumstances life has thrown at them. I became a helping professional because of my deep empathy for others and my belief that we can heal, but we can’t do it alone.
