Gina Ornelas, LMFT
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist | MFC48078
My goal is to empower clients while they are on a journey toward healing and wholeness. My therapeutic approach encourages awareness and curiosity for all parts of self, helps you see how your past impacts your present and future, and assists families in creating healthy boundaries.
I specialize in recovery from different kinds of trauma. Whether you've experienced emotional abuse, sexual abuse, phobias, childhood trauma, grief and loss, disturbing memories, dissociation, spiritual trauma, or just feel stuck, I use a powerful tool called Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing to help you recover. I also see many clients suffering from anxiety, depression, grief and loss, divorce, parenting issues, addiction, adolescence, and marital issues.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Global Studies from Azusa Pacific University in 2004 and went on to graduate with a Master of Science degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA in 2007. I have been practicing in Fresno, CA since 2010. My other credentials include:
-
Certified Therapist through the EMDR International Association (2013)

Approved Consultant through the EMDR International Association (2015)
